Legal support

The Centre for Conflict and Dispute Resolution at the Faculty of Law and Administration UW

The Centre for Conflict and Dispute Resolution is an organisation whose statutory objective is to promote alternative dispute resolution. The Centre conducts comprehensive activities to popularise and develop mediation and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods. They rely on the experience and knowledge of the academic staff of the University of Warsaw and the support of numerous experts and institutions collaborating with them.

If you contact the Centre for Dispute and Conflict Resolution (either by phone or email), the case is initially considered. Then, the other party to the dispute must agree to mediation. Finally, a mediator and the place and time of the mediation proceedings are determined. Upon the request of the person reporting a problem, mediation proceedings may be conducted remotely without directly confrontation between the two parties in justified cases.
