Academic Ombuds

The Office of the Academic Ombuds is a safe place available to all members of the University of Warsaw community. The Ombuds is an independent and neutral person to whom students, doctoral candidates, academic staff, and administrative staff can informally and confidentially seek support on matters concerning the university and its community.

Meeting with the Academic Ombuds

You can contact the Academic Ombuds with any issue concerning your experience at the University of Warsaw. This may include, for example, a feeling of unfair or inappropriate treatment, or conflicts that affect your health, work, or studies. Each meeting is confidential, meaning that all details of the conversation remain the sole responsibility of the Ombuds.

How Academic Ombuds works?

The Academic Ombuds is guided by the principles of independence, impartiality, and confidentiality, and strives to amicably resolve disputes within the university community. Anyone who approaches her can count on a listening ear and support in diagnosing the problem and discussing possible solutions.
